The Office of Education and Data Management (OEDM) was established to carry out the credentialing functions of the Office of State Fire Marshal and the Office of the State Building Inspector. Certification training, decertification hearings and continuing education programs for Fire Marshal, Fire Investigator and Fire Code Inspector fall under the advisory auspices of the Fire Marshal Training Council (FMTC).
