The Department of Administration oversees the management and operations of Nevada state government including human resources, information technology, building construction and maintenance, purchasing and contracting, state vehicle management, and the protection of state property. Additionally it oversees Nevada State Library, Archives and Public Records and administrative hearings and appeals. The Department of Administration primarily provides internal support to state agencies to assist them in carrying out their responsibilities to citizens.
