* Maintaining the City's classification and compensation plan
* Conducting recruitment and selection activities
* Providing new employee orientation
* Conducting labor relations activities including employee discipline matters
* Employer/employee performance evaluation system
* Maintaining employee records
* Workers' compensation claims management
